- Uses social media as a main branding platform.

- Plants clues for upcoming songs/albums, fans interact and react to these clues, generating excitement and hype.

- Everything she does on social media is monitored by fans, generating chatter and intrigue from both fans and the media.

- Interacts with fans, especially fan pages, they may even be sent gifts or invited to special private performance sessions with Taylor. With potential rewards up for grabs, fans will continue to post about their love for Taylor Swift and her music, drawing attention to her and her profile.

- Created a large enough fan-base to the point where if anyone insults her online, they'll receive the backlash of many defensive fans.

- When dropping clues for her albums, she tends to post a selection of images coinciding with the theme/aesthetic of her newest album release, fans can understand and pinpoint meanings and messages behind the album being released.
